Very happy with this preamp. I had Topping d50 III directly connected to amplifier audiophonics S450 ET purify chip . When i connected in the chain the Aiyima T20 i could listen to music at a low volume and all the words were clear, musical, excellent . The bass also got a bit tighter and a little louder (i am speaking here the output rca ffrom T20 goes to my subs) and the xlr goes to the amp . Very very satisfied and happy
A meaningful upgrade becomes quite confusing when similar products keep on coming without much to appreciate, but this time it’s not just useful but meaningful as well.
To name a few:
+ Better case work and design
+ Practicality useful features like HPF, Volume ByPass, better potentiometer, digital volume control, sub out, etc.
+ Fully balanced operation connectivity from preamp to power amplifier
+ 12v triggred input/output for pair
+ A quick but useful timer to get tubes ready as well as adding quick delay to avoid accidental high volume mistakes
+ Extremely effective heat management on A20
Combination of these are really hard to miss and loss for those who do miss it.
A20 has very clean and strong presentation you would expect from a power amplifier, and T20 performs extremely well as preamp without worrying how weak the source signal is.
Tubiness is highly objective, I will gladly leave that part out.
While Aiyima have brought some really good products in past, these new products are truly worthy of your 10 Anniversary celebration.
This is what I would call Substantial Upgrade.

Super Excellent and complete Giant KILLER! The chassis is very high class and the look / feel is premium. Genuine vacuum tube preamp with rollable op amps as well and so can be tailored to any system. I have not even rolled tubes nor op amps yet and it already sounds excellent. Very holographic, very silent, very transparent. Highly recommended!
